Daytime Play (open to all): Shoot anytime before 10:30 PM, snap a photo of your score, and post to Instagram tagging @pioneersbar and using #PioneersShootout. Highest posted score of the day wins.

Late-Night Tournament: First 20 sign-ups at 11:30 PM. $1 entry (after drink purchase). Highest score wins.

FULL RULES

1) Overview

Pioneers Bar hosts a weekly arcade basketball challenge every Sunday. There are two ways to compete:

1. Daytime Social Shootout (Open Play) — Anytime before 10:30 PM

2. Late-Night In-Person Shootout Tournament — Starts around 11:30 PM after the comedy show

Each contest has its own prize and entry rules.

2) Daytime Social Shootout Rules

Anytime between bar opening and 10:30 PM:

1. Play the arcade basketball game as many times as you like.

2. Take a clear photo or short video showing:

   • The score screen

   • You in the frame (selfie style is fine)

3. Post to Instagram:

   • Tag @pioneersbar

   • Use hashtag #PioneersShootout

4. Your post timestamp must be from that Sunday.

5. The highest verified posted score wins a $30 bar tab (announced online / at the bar).

6. You must be 21+ to redeem the tab.

Tie-breaker: TBD by Renegade Shootout Hosts and/or Pioneers Bar staff.

3) Late-Night Shootout Tournament Rules

Starts ~11:30 PM, after the 10:30 PM comedy show

1. Sign-up is first come, first served — only 20 spots.

2. $1 entry fee after purchasing any drink.

3. Each contestant gets one round on the arcade machine.

4. The highest score wins a $20 bar tab.

5. Winner announced immediately.

Tie-breaker: One-round head-to-head shoot-off.

4) General Notes

• Scores must be from the Pioneers Bar arcade machine.

• Bar tabs cannot be redeemed for cash and must be used in one visit.

• Don’t damage or excessively shake the machine — it’s sensitive and we’ll all cry.

• Please keep things friendly, fun, and vaguely athletic.
